As the baptized imperfect people of Jesus Christ, we embrace the boundless grace of God, forever grateful for the unyielding love shown through His son’s sacrifice. As a church family, we work hand-in-hand in spreading Christ’s good news of the gospel, which is the forgiveness of our sins. Fulfilling God’s command, we baptize, administer the Lord’s Supper, and share His Word through proclamation. Within our church family lies an unbridled sense of kinship, as we cherish and honor each other just as God cherishes and honors us. We acknowledge that God is all-powerful and all-knowing, and His Holy Spirit makes us righteous, not our good deeds. Together as a church, we are free to love and serve our neighbors whether locally or around the world. United as one, we wholeheartedly believe in the one, true God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We, the baptized, responding to the grace of God known through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, unite together in God’s great commission to teach, preach and spread the Word of God known as the Gospel, and administer the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion ordained through His divine will, and revealed through the Holy Scriptures to be our way of life; for this reason this Congregation shall unite as members of Christ’s Holy Church, to love God and to love one another as God has loved us. We confess that all power and authority resides in God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ and is revealed through the power of the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever.
